Growing in Christ Together
What are Growth Groups?
They are small groups of people who meet regularly to grow together in Christ! Every Christian needs to be growing as a follower of Jesus but we do it best together. The aim is to grow as Christians, through Bible study, prayer and sharing life with each other.
“Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:15–16

When do Growth Groups meet?
We run groups at people’s homes, usually every other week, Wednesdays and Thursdays. These usually start at 7:45pm, and we sometimes have meals and socials.
What do you do in a Growth Group?
We grow through applying God’s word to our lives, prayerfully depending on the Holy Spirit, and with the support of other Christians. We call it the “ABC’s of growing” and each time we meet we aim to give time to these three things:
- Applying God’s Word to our lives
- Building real relationships
- Crying out to God in prayer
How can I join a Growth Group?
You are very welcome to join a group if you are committed to growing in Christ alongside other Christians. A group member is someone prepared (1) to show up regularly, week by week; (2) to speak up and participate in group life, and (3) to step up their commitment to growing in Christ.
