We meet every Sunday, 10:30am at Westwood Farm Junior School, and everyone is very welcome! There is a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to our worship services, even though they are structured.
Our songs include a mix of traditional and contemporary hymns, and our music set-up changes each week to incorporate different instruments and styles (piano, guitar, violin, drums etc.)
We use the NIV version of the Bible, and plenty of copies are available to borrow if you don’t have a Bible of your own (you can even take one home for free!) We’d also recommend an app called YouVersion which allows you to read the Bible on your phone – in any version or language!

A typical service
We serve refreshments from 10:15am so we can arrive at our leisure, grab a coffee and chat together before the service starts.
From 10:30am, we spend 20-25 minutes singing, praying, reading the Bible and engaging the children before they go out for Sunday School (3-11), or Connect (11-14).
We’re very happy for children and babies to make noise and they’re welcome to stay throughout the whole service. There is also a creche if you’d prefer to make use of that.
Our pastor, Dan (or a visiting speaker) will then teach from the Bible to help deepen our understanding of God and live out our faith. We usually follow a series in a particular book or theme (approx. 25-35 minutes). You can listen to some of our previous sermons online.
If we have communion, the bread is always gluten free and the ‘wine’ is red grape juice (in case those things are an issue for you or for someone you want to invite).
Refreshments are served again after the service (11:45am-ish) as we enjoy getting to know and encouraging each other. There is also a book table to browse, and all books can be borrowed for free.

Explore
If you would like to explore the Christian faith, you are very welcome to join us for any of our services. Our pastor and elders, or anyone on the welcome team, will be very happy to help you.
We occasionally run informal courses, such as Christianity Explored, for anyone who is interested in the Bible or knowing Jesus. Contact our pastor, Dan, to find out when the next one is running.
We’ve also put together some resources to help you explore.
