Creche (0-2)
A creche is available during the service if you would like to make use of it. You are very welcome to stay in with your child if you prefer, or you can leave them in the capable hands of our helpers while you enjoy the service.
We have an assortment of toys for babies and toddlers, and we often read a simple Bible story to the children, or sing some songs, while they enjoy a biscuit.
Our helpers are DBS-checked and adhere to our Safeguarding Policy.

Sunday School (4-11)
The children usually head out for Sunday School after about 20 minutes of being in the main service.
Sunday School is split into two age groups*. We usually have a few songs, a Bible lesson and some fun activities or crafts. We are currently using the “Click” material for our lessons, which we have found to be very engaging.
Most of the songs we sing in Sunday School are available to listen to on our Spotify playlist.
All of our teachers and helpers are DBS checked and adhere to our Safeguarding Policy.
*Children join the younger group at age 4, and then move up to the older group when they move into Year 3 at school.

Connect (11-14s)
Connect runs on occasional Sunday mornings (approximately 3 out of 5 Sundays) for 11-14s. It’s a chance for young people to explore how they can connect to God and connect to church. They can ask questions and consider what Jesus means to them personally.
Connect runs during the sermon and it includes informal discussion, Bible study, and snacks! See what dates Connect is running on our calendar.
For the non-Connect weeks, the young people will stay in the service. Having this balance of some weeks ‘out’ and some weeks ‘in’ will give them a chance to bridge the gap between Sunday School and full participation in the service.
All of our teachers and helpers are DBS checked and adhere to our safeguarding policy.

United (14-18s)
United is our group for 14-18s. We meet approximately every 3 weeks, on Sunday afternoons, for lunch, games, and a Bible study. We want this to be a safe space and an opportunity to ask the tougher questions, or to cover anything that may not have been understood in the morning’s service.
Our aim for this older group is to help show them how they are united with Christ (if they are a believer) and therefore united as a church family. In an age where individualism is honoured and sought out, helping to instil unity and preferring one another over themselves is important. We’d like to create an atmosphere of openness, hospitality, and treating them as young adults as they begin to consider their futures.
