You will need

  • White card
  • Scissors
  • Crayons
  • Paintbrush (flat brush is best)
  • Watercolour paints

Make the eggs

  1. Cut your card into an egg shape
  2. Draw on your patterns or write a message with the crayons (you could write a secret message in white crayon and give it to someone to reveal with paint!)
  3. Paint over the top of the crayons with your watercolour paints. Use water to make sure the paint is not too thick, so that the design shows through and helps your colours merge together.
