Ingredients (makes 16)
100g cornflakes (plus extra for decoration)
100g dark chocolate
25g unsalted butter
3 tbsp golden syrup

Method
- Prepare fairy cake cases on a plate or in a tin.
- Melt the chocolate, syrup and butter in a pan on a low heat, or in a large bowl over hot water.
- Once melted, gently stir in the cornflakes.
- Spoon out the mixture evenly into the fairy cake cases.
- Add a couple of extra cornflakes on top of each cake to look like wings.
- Place two smarties for the eyes, and a sideways one in the middle for the beak. Add a dot of chocolate in the middle of the eyes using the back of a spoon.
- Chill in the fridge for an hour and enjoy!
