Collect
Collect some straight twigs from outside (the drier the better to be able to glue them together). Alternatively, you can buy willow or apple tree sticks from the small animal section of a pet shop.
Assemble
Cut the twigs into 4 pieces – 2 long and 1 short for the tree shape, and 1 very short piece for the trunk – and glue together. A glue gun is best, but most glues should do the job. Leave to dry.
Decorate
Tie or stick a loop of twine to the top so the tree can be hung up. Wrap twine around the tree in whichever pattern or design you fancy. Add buttons for extra effect and a star on top!
Try different craft materials to change your designs! You could use ribbons, wool, card, sequins, stickers, gems etc.
